Vietnam Railway Corporation manufactures 356 rolling stock

With a view to fufiling the target of gaining VND 388-billion revenue in terms of railway industrial value, rolling stock enterprises currently concentrates on repairing 9 locomotives, 90 coaches and 340 wagons. To meet the increasing demand of using rolling stock, they also manufacture 56 coaches, 300 wagons of various kinds and speed up 20 D19E-locomotive project imported from China.

Regarding capital constructions, the railway sector pays much attention to upgrading the lines of Ha Noi - Lang Son, Ha Noi - Lao Cai, bridges on North - South railway line and the project of signalling & telecommunications modernization on Vinh - Sai Gon division.
