Constructing Vung Ang – Tan Ap - Mu Gia – Tha Khek railway line

On December 26th 2007, Laos Transportation Minister – Mr Sommad Pholsena visited Vietnam to discuss on opening a new railway line from Tha Khek (Laos) to Mu Gia (Quang Binh province – Vietnam), connecting to the national railway from Tan Ap station (Quang Binh province) to Vung Ang port (Ha Tinh province) within the trans Asia railways project

This project is a part of The Agreement on Economy, Culture, Science and Technology between Vietnam and Laos Governments signed in 2003. The Transportation Investment and Construction Consulting Joint stock company has just finished the first-term report of this project.
